Sounds like the belt to the alternator & power steering. Just need to loosen bolts to both items & put on new belts, tension the new belts & tighten.... Should have it done in 15 minutes or less. Good luck...

if it is the power steering, when you tighten the belt...don't pry on the tank...there is a boss for a wrench to use for that...:yup:

If you have no idea how to do this, then pay somebody to do it. It won't cost that much and it will be done right.

Wow, they actually had a rad in stock for a 41 year old car ? I wish my parts store was that good.
Just line the belts up on the pulleys that match, they pretty much only work one way.

X2. The square boss is behind the pulley. Its easy to miss if you don't know its there.

Ran into problem. Everything went well but now my head unit keeps blowing fuse instantly. Doesnt even power on. It blew two diff fuses so I thought the head unit might of fried but I jus tried a diff head unit abd same thing happens? Any one know what this could be from I notice my alt light is on now I dnt rememver if it was on or not before. Could be cuz the alt is going and its protecting the head unit?
