I have a buddy that had a Holly carb on his 350, but he didnt like it so he got a different one. Shoud it fit on my 302 with a weiand stealth intake? Any technical things I should know before hitting this project?

If it is a spread bore carb(highly likely it is), then it won't fit(assuming the stealth intake is a square bore design). Another thing to watch out for is the kickdown linkage compatibility.

If it is a spreadbore and you're determined to run it, you can get an adaptor. I ran a 650 dual feed on mine for a few years. Great mileage on the small primaries and pretty impressive when those big secondaries open up.

we measured the intake and the carb and they are the same size... so im thinking it should work. i looked up the intake and the two "recommended" carbs for it are two different Holly's so hopefully this one will be the same thing... ill go at it and see.
