Well guys, it's that time. Ive done a lot of reading, but Im still undecided... Ive got all the tools to redo all the brake lines... hard lines of course. But now Im at an impasse...

Whats the most economical way to do four wheel discs? a 5 lug conversion at the same time (if it doesnt add extra cost) would be amazing. I dont care if I have to bastardize this car and that car and grab this and that off of this... If It exists in a junkyard I can find it .

I know rears are an option from a granada... what about fronts? are Cobras or stock the only option?

Granada Rotors and drums are the same size as a 68 GT500KR.

Not sure on stopping distance at 60 mph. Several reviews range Granada stopping distance range from 140 feet to 172. Disc/Disc seems to always range around 160 feet. The lowest stopping distance was from a 77 Granada with a disc/drum at 140 feet.

I would worry about doing the front and leave the rear for later, rear discs really don't add anything to the stopping power unless you're going to autocross the car where the rear brakes would build up enough heat to warrant converting it to rear discs.

Hoenstly I want rear discs mostly since If I do fronts Ill have 5 lug up front and four lug in the back, at which point Ill need to do a rear end swap anyway.... which if I'm going to that much trouble. The discs in the back isnt much!

I figure Ill need a new front assembly? (not sure of terms) from pinions outwards on both sides, and the whole rear end from driveshaft out repalced in the back. Im gonna look around for an old car/parts car. Mavs and comets are rarer than hens teeth around here in the yards though. Which is why I was hoping there was a simpler way.
