i think dupont and some others make a "hot rod black" that'll give it the look you want, but its actuall paint, not just some primer or something...

from the factory the only diffrence between a v8 maverick and a 6cyl is a slightly larger sway bar and 5 lug wheels instead of 4 lug on the older...

id say because mustangs were actually build with some muscle, the best a maverick ever got was a 200hp 302...

v8 have that belly bar too. no really suspension but im sure it keeps things stiffer for handeling purposes

i think black would look better then a rusty and pitted chrome bumper no matter what color the body was
get the stone gaurd, bumper, brackets, lower valence and then on the back get the bumper, brackets, rear valence, and the quarter panel...
my 70's bumpers were done in body but i'd much rather have them chromed [IMG] [IMG]
73's still use the 70-72 back bumper, just diffrent mounts but the front bumper doesnt look as nice IMO. its still big and sticks out too far,...
