Happens all the time down here, unfortunately. I have stripped parts off of over 25 Mavericks in junkyards over the past two years, including one Sprint, a Grabber, and two LDO cars. Over half of those 25 Mavericks were solid cars and could have been put back on the road without too much work. First pic below is of the '72 Sprint I got a front valance, grille, and a few other parts off of last year. There was no serious rust in the car. It has long since been crushed and shreded. The last few pictures are of a 100% rust free '72 that is in the junkyard right now. One month ago, it was a fully intact, all original car with the original paper work from the dealer inside it (which I took and now have put away with all my other original Maverick paper work). Car was bought new by a Claude Lee Sharp on June 30th, 1972 in Atlanta, GA according to the paperwork. It had 16 miles on it. :) I saved a good front and rear valance, grille, package tray, and a few other little odds and ends off the car last month. When I went back to the junkyard today, I found that someone had cut the back end of the car off. Especially gotta love how they unbolted the top of the previously perfect drivers side fender and just bent it down out of the way. Seriously have to wonder what the hell people are thinking...

At 50 beans even with the shipping I dont think it would be terribly expensive.I am definitely interested if its clean and straight.I dont need hinges, glass, window regulator or latch assy just the door shell. If you are willing to do the take off and get boxed up/shipped I will send you the cash necessary to facilitate the the purchase. If you want you can E mail me at pjuryniec@aol.com or pm me at the site here and we can work out the details(I have never used the pm board at this site though)Well either way contact me.Thanks.Pete:cheers:
