Oct 3rd we leave Richmond (va) heading to Nagshead nc and taking highway17 (after 2.5 hr ferry ride) through nc,sc, and ga to fla going to stick close to the coast the scenic route. Have all the faith my 77 (33,000 original mi) will be fine.! cant wait...
Good luck with your trip. I'm sure if anything goes wrong it will be a minor fix. I'd make sure I had some tools with me just in case. Keep us informed how you do.

yea if I can get the wife to leave 1 of her suitcases home so I will have room for the spare parts box...really looking forward to this but I may get a stereo installed first,my car is a radio delete car (but does have ac) GO FIGURE
THATS an awful lot of miles,I am thinking we (my wife Judy) may do a thousand or so. Dont really have a specific location to get to just going as far down the coast (hwy17) as time permits stop when we want for the night we stop just winging it but would like to spend some extra time in Charleston SC, and Savannah GA may get to Daytona dunno
