200 I6 vs 250 I6?

    I have a 74 Maverick that has an I6 under the hood. Can anyone tell me how I check if it's a 200 or 250? Or does it really matter? Plan to dress it up a little with chrome valve cover and breather and maybe a few other things.

    Count the water pump bolts. The 200 has 3 bolts...the 250 has 4 bolts. If all you want is a chrome valve cover then it doesn't mater. They both use the same cover
