So if I were to put a fue linjected 302 out of a fox body stang into the 69 what kind of exhaust could be used??? I know there are several companies that make headers for this, but what about the h pipe???? Would there be any possibility of being able to use an hpipe out of the fox body also with minor modification, or would I have to go aftermarketon this as well??? If so, anybody know of a package header/hpipe combo that will work, and do so without clearance issues on a T5??? Thanks.
The H pipe will need alteration because the under side of a Mav is not the same as a Mustang. An X pipe for your application is cheap as used for early Mustang application. Heddman has headers that will fit your application but may need the outlets angled downward a small amount so it is easy to bolt up custom bent head pipes. Then you weld in bungs on the head pipes for the OX sensors close to the header flanges.
