351W "C"

    I found an engine from a Ranchero.. the dude said it was a 351 Cleveland.. but the valve cover sticker says 351W "C"?

    Is the water outlet in the intake or the head?

    There are MANY differences between the two...But one quick way to tell is like this...
    If the Thermostat housing (were the top radiator hose connects) is bolted to the Intake Manifold ,its a Windsor. If the Thermostat housing bolts to the Engine Block its a Cleveland.

    Another way is by looking at the fuel pump. If the bolts are side by side Like this . . its a windsor. If the bolts are over and under like this : its a cleveland.
