Old subject I'm sure but; looking at my 1975 merc. monarchs351w engine sitting on my shop floor. The stock manifolds look tucked tight enough to clear. any body know or tryed then. Oh I'm JT First post.
pretty sure they wont work if you dont want to use headers , you can use factory 302 manifolds for the maverick
exhaust thanks for the reply. stock exhaust has got to flow as well as some of the small tube headers that I see.
I am not sure, but didn't Granada/Monarch 302s use Maverick manifolds? Or at least one of the two???? If so, a stock 351w manifold should be right... Never really thought about it. You don't see too many 351 Granada/Monarchs to think about it. Got any pics? I would certainly try it. The Granada had a fairly tight engine bay. Might be perfect.
manifolds 351w thank for imput, when I get my car into my shop I will set the motor in the car and see what it looks like. But I picked up a 1978 302 complete this week end just in case. 331 stroker might do the trick. also I live in the tri-cities,wa Thanks for letting me ramble.
