3spd conversion questions

    I want to know if I can use the bellhousing, flywheel from a 1976 Ford Maverick, with a 250six and 3spd, on my 1973 Maverick with a 302. I guess, I just want to know if the bellhousing is the same, and if it isnt, what will I have to midfy to make it work. I know of a 76' 250 3spd car that I might want to pick up for parts, before I buy it I would like to know if it is all compatible with the 302

    1966 Mustang, 1972, 73, 73 and 73 Mavericks
    The 250 six cylinder and the 302 use the same bell housing but different flywheels.
