69.5 and 70' mavericks have Falcon floor pans?

    Hello, I'am buying some parts off a guy and told me that the double hump crossmember will not work in my 70' maverick because they really have a falcon floor pans and would have to be modify. he said alot of people does not relize that, is that correct? hes making one for me that will fit. something about the holes will not match or reach? Thanks Robert

    69 1/2, 70 Maverick and 71 Grabber
    I think you have to elongate the holes for it to fit a 70. I am still running the stock cross member in mine.

    I've had a few
    I put a double hump crossmember in a '69.5 when doing a V8 swap last summer. I bolted the drivers side up, then had to drill a new hole for the passenger side, took all of about 30 seconds to make it work.
