69-72 in Cold Case Files

    Was watching Cold Case files last night, and they did a flashback to 1987 showing two kids riding bikes in the street, the camera panned by a 69-72 parked in a driveway.

    It didn't look like it had a stock paint job, as it was a burgandy color. It kind of looked liked the one I owned, way back

    Thanks for the info. I like "Cold Case." I don't remember seeing that episode, but I'll look for the Maverick the next time it is broadcast. I'm surprised I haven't seen more Mavericks in that show, since everything takes place some time in the past.

    I saw a 4-door Maverick in a Cold Case show a while ago about a transvestite who was murdered in 1979. The scene shows a couple of high school boys picking up the "girl" to go to a prom. I'm pretty sure it was a Maverick, but it wasn't on screen very long. The show was originally aired in 2004.
