ive got a 72 2dr mav and a 69 2dr mav and im parting the 72 for my 69 and i was wondering how well everything would fit together? i would asume that pretty much everything would fit but maybe im wrong. P.S. has any one ever used "autokrafters" cause i was gonna order most of the parts i cant find from there?

Only thing I can think of that won't interchange is the gas tank.

Autokrappers has good stuff because they dont make it. I have used a bunch of stuff from their catalog. Besides the gas tank, the rear seat and side panels are about the only other difference.

side panels are flatter with no seatbelt slots on the 69 1/2. Also my panels have ashtrays built in. The parts will swap over but you would have to swap the seat and panels over if you choose to use the later model stuff, leaves a hole to fill where the seatbelts pass through. Ask me how I know:rolleyes:

i'm sure you know this- the steering column is also different as the ignition switch is on the dash. :)

Intresting. I guess the rear panels in my '74 Grabber were from a '70 then. I knew the sill plates were, guess he must have taken the panels from the same car when he changed the interior color in '84.
