Nice to have found a resource for my Mav. I've been lurking around for a day or so and it seems to be filled with knowledgable fanatics. i look forward to learning whatever i can. i left a couple of pictures of my ride. you know i searched around for cd installation info and came up with nothing. Can any of you point in my in the right direction? Thanks, sydney
Nice looking car. By CD installation, do you mean you want to install a new CD player head unit? If so, make a post over in the Audio sub form in Technical and we can help you out. I've done it a couple of times.
Thats a nice looking car, and it is good to see another CA person on here! (side note... that doesnt look like a 1972 Maverick)
Good looking car. But??????????????????? It really looks like a 73 with the medeum sized bumper in the front and the small in the back. What are the first 4 didgits of the VIN?
good to see another socal member Nice Ride CD instalation are pretty easy start a thread like jamire said OR you could just buy a FM transmitter i have one hooked up to my ipod and works great.(had to use the transmitter because i got rid of the antenna)
Those things are awesome. I used one in my Grabber for several months last year while I saved up to buy a new head unit. Just plug it into anything with a headphone jack, find an empty frequency on the radio to set it to, and you're good to go. I just hooked mine to a little portable CD player. Now we use it with my brother's laptop to play MP3's straight off the laptop through the car stereo. I love that thing.
