So i have scanned the internet pretty much looking for a good article on rebuilding the ford 8 inch. i have done re-ends before but i havent done the 8 inch and since its my baby and ill be putting new gears in it (3.80s) i would like to get all the proper torque specs for the job including stuff like rotational torque, ring to carrier torque and what not..... Please and thanks every body

that guy is very creepy!!! http://www.superioraxlegear.com/tech-help-set-up_specifictions.html i believe that their pinion rotational specs are with oil on the bearings. i use bearing grease and my specs will be about 5in/lbs higher.
