I know this subject has been beaten to death,but...a while ago there was a discussion about the gt40p heads and sparkplug/header issues. In this certain thread someone posted a pic of what I call an offset boot extender. It was basically a boot that went on the plug, and was offset away from the header, had a male end and you could simply snap the plug wire onto it.Does anyone recall this thread,and/or post a link?I've looked everywhere and can't find it.Thanks all.:tiphat:

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
It was Chirt`s thread. But at 35 bucks a pop($280 for 8) there not really worth it for a pair of stock heads, when you can get better flowing aluminum pieces for well under a thousand.

Believe me,if I had a grand,I wouldn't be attempting to do what I'm thinking about doing. The heads I'll be using are far from stock.

is it possible that you will only need 4 of them. i think for the drivers side. or maybe for the front cylinders sence the rear cylinders the header tubes point more downward than back.
