this is a comet GT black, buckets ,6-cyl, 3-speed floor shift with a ford 3 spoke steering wheel, has been in the woods for some time has several large rust holes, I think the hood was ok. he wants 400 for it, no title. I figure it has enough parts for the price. I looked at it last summer, he had 2 mavericks but his 17yo nephew got those. he called me around 9:00 tonight while working on the garage. I told him it would be about 2 weeks before I could get it.

Well if it has a good hoodscoop and the bucket seat tracks and spacers, I would say you got your money worths.

Well the guy called me late last night to say it is out of the woods and that I can come an look at it and decide if I want it. As long and it has all the parts on it when I last saw it it is worth the 400 bucks. I will be going down there either before lunch or early afternoon tomorrow. will post pictures after I get it to the house.

A guy in my area offered 3 Comets the other day for $1500. One was a GT. There is enough parts among all 3 to make a good GT. If interested, drop a PM.

The only reason I am getting the GT is the spare parts. Chuck might be interested in those.

Well here is the good parts..... OH it is a 73 Comet GT
    Has front disc brakes
Is coded for V8 but has a 6cyl, with a 3 speed on the floor
Has V8 Z-bar, belly bar and double hump trans mount:bananaman
    LDO buckets
    Good hood
    good spoiler

Oh and here is the best part, while putting on the rear tie downs
something caught my eye.....this car has rear disc brakes....well when I got it home I hit it with the preasure washer.....by this time chuck (fastfords) came by and took a look at it and we both think it has a 9" rear under it...large pumpkin and large axle tubes:yahoo:
