Any Members IN Lexington KY or willing to Drive here? *Edit* I just realised that I forgot to attach a picture. =) Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Lost my job in Mid Nov, and what was my daily driver(The Firemist Green 70 maverick with the Rear Spoiler that I can't stand!) is now my daily driver that I REALLY need to fix a few things on... as cheap as possible. As I don't have a job. What I'm looking for, is someone that is close enough to LExington, to come up and spend a few hours going over the car with me and What I need to fix/how I should go about doing so, and what something like that Might run(just a ballpark.) I'd be willing to give you a few dollars in gas money(up to like 20 or 30possibly) for the help. I don't trust it to make it to my dads outside of E-town from Lex. As the Transmission probably needs completely rebuilt. When I got this vehicle I had plenty of cash flow to do what I wanted with it, but now It's a matter of Getting it to "Dependable driver" status to take it to my dads to actually work on it. Though if you have a truck, and a VERY kind charitible Heart... I'm quite sure it's almost completely setup for a Windsor V8. Though I would need a radiator as well. And A transmission that Wouldn't need rebuilt... or the knowledge and parts to rebuild one. I have a friend who owes me about 600 dollars worth of Mechanic work, and could throw the engine and trains in with me one Saturday... it's just getting the parts and so on and so forth. Though I would be happy with a "Maverick Expert" that could tell/show me how all the little problems and how to go about fixing them. Some are very small, like the Cab light not coming on anymore, or the headlights not always coming on(though the high beams work like a charm) etc etc. I know there has to be a few people near Lexington that are so passionate about cars that they find fun in looking at them and making them better. If ANYONE is interested, let me know what you need(gas money, a pizza for lunch, etc etc) I'm almost at a point of Desperation, and Am hoping to have atleast SOME idea of the cost before what little income tax I'm getting back this year comes rolling in. I'm to young to be this Old, lol! Thanks in Advance for any help/Inquiries. ~Shaun
