any pics of a 69ish maverick's V8 motor mounts???

    any pics of a 69ish maverick's V8 motor mounts???

    My buddy got his maverick with no motor/tranny, but the previous owner told him they were V8 mounts.... any pics to help? Thanks.

    are you refering to the ...mounts...or the...stands?
    the mav./comet has a stand that mounts to the frame snout and the motor mount bolts to it.. :yup:

    No such animal...

    ...the V8/302 didn't show up from the factory in these things until '71. If you have any factory 302 Mav/Comet mounts/stands they are all the same. If you
    just need a pic of a V8 mount there should be one on the site somewhere. I don't have one to post. But any '71 and later mount should fit the '69 Maverick.

    Here are pics of V8 mounts I took off a '75 4 door in the junkyard, and the I6 mounts in my '69.5 (rubber part of the motor mounts are still bolted to them in the pic).

    V8 mounts fit over the frame, while I6 mounts bolt to the front of it.

    They will fit in a 69 with no problem. However I did have to modify my trans x member a bit and the 69 seems to have a smaller tranny tunnel.
