I have a 1973 Ford Maverick 4-Door with a 200 CID V6 under the hood. It's got minor rust spots, but nothing a little bondo can't fix.

I want to make this a road trip vehicle. Does anyone have any suggestions for the paint color? What about the interior? Does anyone have any useful links where I could find parts for the interior such as seats, pedals, etc?

Her names Jane, by the way. Not Jan, but Jane. :D

Bondo can't fix rust spots. It hides them while they turn into bigger rust spots..

If its going to be a road tripper...Get ALL the mechanicles done well.Engine,trans,Brakes/suspension etc...Then make the interrior comfy and drive it everywhere.Do the body last or not at all (dont have to worry about dirt/stone chips)

You'll probably find lots of members who might have the parts you'll be looking for. Just post your needs in the parts wanted part of the classified. I've been able to get lots of stuff for mine from other members as well as Ebay.

I'm seeing a 5.0 with a Pro-Charger, AOD with 3.50's or something along there in the rear. Throw in some A/C and good tunes then drive her cross country! Be a comfy cruiser that can keep up with or spank many cars out there.

A cross country cruiser sounds like fun.
