I have been e-mailing a brazilian guy who is into mavericks, and am trying to set up a Brazilian contact so we can buy some of those parts they have that we don't. Specifically, I want a chrome grill. Others have shown interest in those sidepipes built into the ground-effect body panel.

Are there any other parts that anyone might be interested in having shipped? links to pictures of the parts would be appreciated. I will forward the link and see if the guy can connect us with the parts.

I think I will do some cheap orders first, and make sure we don't find any glitches involved with shipping and monetary conversions...

I'd like a Brazilian dash with the glovebox, console, and a set of taillights. Let us know if you get a connection down there.

I am also trying the same thing. I'll let you know if I find out anything. I really want one of those front airdams after somone posted that Brazilian Ebay link with the grabber hood, airdam and window vents.

I sent a copy of the address for this post to him. Let's see what he can do for us, if anything...

I have been in contact with several Brazil guys over the last 6 months asking about various parts. The general consensus is that an entire glove box dash would be very hard to come by, although the gauge cluster (reading KM/H with oddball odometer and gas gauge) would be easy to find. Factory brazilian grilles in good condition are also rare. None of them understand what I'm talking about when I say I'd like to buy the frame mounts and motor mounts from a 2.3 Maverick (I'm going to have to take a picture of under the hood of my car and point out what part I'm talking about). Tail lights you may be able to get ahold of.

Aftermarket parts from over there shouldn't be much of a problem according to the guys I have talked to.

So far I have yet to get anything shipped over here. I'm more intrested in factory parts, such as the tail lights and glove box dash then aftermarket parts.

My neighbour is [size=-1]Portuguese, I'm sure he can translate for us, I also have a customs broker that I deal with personally, I can run it by him and see what he knows, he brokers equipment worldwide.
I'd like a set of tailights, and with the value of Mavericks there, I'm sure there aren't alot of scrap cars around...
