My son is all hot to get his bench seat replaced on his 74 Maverick. I would also like sometime in the future to replace my bench seat on my 76 Maverick with bucket seats.

So what size so I look for? Are there given dimentions or nut/bolt spacing that I need to be aware of? Are there other Ford models that their bucket seats would fit my Mavs? Is is hard to do?

I suppose the best place to find them is the junk yard?

Your '76 has a raised "hump" in the floor on the passenger side for the catalytic converter, so you need the rails that are designed to fit that side. Anything can be custom-made to fit, although it can be either costly or a great deal of work. I am sure that someone here has done the swap and can tell you what will work...
