"Leather" ?? '70 Mavericks did not come with bucket seats (although you can certainly install a set of '71-'73 buckets with no trouble). No Maverick or Comet came with Leather...that would be a custom job...and an expensive one at that...
You might run into a small difficulty installing 1971-1972 Maverick bucket seats into a 1970 Maverick. A 1970 Mav never had bucket seats from the factory, so hence, the floorboards were never designed for bucket seats like the 1971-1972 floorboards were. Just takes a little engineering to get it to work...not a straight bolt in.
yes... this is true and me n todd are winging it..using these 1 inch tall nuts to adjust height...bolting in from the bottom.
Let us know how you make out on it; I going do the same thing when it warms up. If you can take some pictures.
