bumper adjustment question

    This pertains to those who have 70-72 and I think probably 73 cars. Was wondering what the space between the top of the rear corners of the back bumper and the bottom of the qtr panel extension is? When I snug mine up I can just stick my thumb flat between the 2, which measures 3/4 inch on me.

    I got mine a little closer at around 5/8 to 1/2" Problem is if you get it too tight, then the top of the valance panels bolts start to become visible when your eye level with the bumper.

    hmmm

    I dont think very many people will be eye leve with the bumbpers though. could hurt a little bit.
