    Hi guys
I bought a chin spoiler for a 1970 mustang and it didn't fit can. I was told the one of a 1969 shelby mustang would work is that right? I would love just to buy one for a Maverick but they aren't avalible up here.

69-70 mustang spoilers have to be tweeked a little to get them to work. I can't say for sure on the shelby's. I beleave MAS makes a fiberglass one that is made for the mavericks. I prefer the plastic 69 mustang spoiler and I just installed a new one to the wifes mavick yesterday.

Basically I redrilled the center hole about a 1/2" forward, then mounted the spoiler. Next I mounted the outer edges where I wanted them. worked from the center out using the rest of the screws and bolts. I then pie cut the center lower lip and used a heat gun to tweek it so it looks right.

Even though this seems like a bit of work I feel it is worth it because the plastic is alot more durable then fiberglass.

If you can't find the Mustang part, the MAS fiberglass spoiler works ok. I have one on my Grabber.

There is a thread on it here. Just go to the search section

No, they offer it only in fiberglas.
