I was going thru the parts I got with my car and am missing some items so curious as if all cars came with certain items or was it only certain models. (My car is a 70, but will be making it appear like a 71 or 72 grabber)

    Did all cars have:

    Drip rail chrome
Chrome trim on the doors and quarter window
Chrome trim on the quarter window squared
    Chrome trim on the hood

Also are any of the above pieces repop or do you have to find used?

    Thanks.

No all cars did not have the trim in all the areas mentioned with the exception of the trim on the hood and it was not chrome but was anodized aluminum still shiny but not chrome. If I am right about the chrome trim you are talking about on the quarter window being squared that part is being reproduced but so far that is the only one and it was not always chrome as well.

Hopefully in the future they will make some of these parts especially the hood trim.

The hood trim would be a clear winner, demand for good pieces far outweigh supply.

There is actually a guy in Georgia who is having them remade out of aluminum. From What I hear they look pretty good and are fairly close to the original ones. I think he is charging around 120-140 for them? Not 100% sure on the price.

I just confirmed with him that they are in fact custom made pieces made out of aluminum. He currently out of stock of them but should have some more in a few months he said. I will post on here again when they are in stock.

Thanks for going through all the work to track down the info. You might want to mention to the guy that he can join here for free and be listed as a vendor source.

I mentioned it to him, he will do it when he gets more in stock. He is busy with work and does not have time right now. If he doesn't do it ill throw up something for him. I have no ties to him at all just want to see more people have access to this part!

I bet he is getting the hood molding from Brazil.

Wasn't the Brazil one stainless and an exact copy, including the screw holes?
