    :dance: I hit what I guess could be called a milestone tonight. I logged in information on the 30th Comet GT. At first I was not entering the cars due to not being able to obtain the VIN numbers and data tag info. I have had problems in getting people to get that info to me. :cry: yeah, that's me crying.

    To those who have sent me their info: :bowdown: and :drink: on me. IF you would like to confirm if your GT is in the registry-let me know.

    It appears by this small sample that there are more '71 and '74 GT's still running around. So, if you have a GT, and want it in the registry-let me know.
    I may look into getting some logo stickers made regarding 'Member of the '71-'75 COMET GT Registry'.

    I have your yellow GT as entry #21. I got your car when it was for sale on E-bay in Dec. 2005. I do not have your name, or contact info. I also need the data from the blue tag in the driver's door jamb. Can you confirm original color etc.

    My dad's '71 Comet GT was 1K31F566043. I don't know the codes were, but you can probably figgure it out by what it had. White exterior, C4 trans, 2.79 rear, avacado green interior with high back buckets and a floor shift, Atlanta DSO (21). My dad's friend got it from an estate sale in 1983, it was supossedly a special order car.

    Can you get a pic of the tag inside the door? Thats the only Mav/Comet I have ever seen with F in the VIN. Acording to the VIN decode site that means it was made in Dearborn, Michigan.

    I will take a pic maybe next week-end... my comet is not at home...

    I'm from Canada/Québec... don't know where comet & maverick was built for my location....
