Convertiable mav/ Street scoop

    Hi guys,

    I wanted to know what you think about making a 77 2dr maverick into a converable:clap:?? I got this cary idea to turn my mav into a converable but dont know if it is poissible and what excectly will i need to do the job? If any one has any suggest please let me know

    Also i want to install a working street scoop from Mr. gasket but don't how to cut a hole in the hood for the scoop to go through. Any suggestions???

    Mainly you would need to stiffen up the structure of the car. You can't just go cutting the roof off of it, the doors would start sagging and all kinds of stuff.

    Do a search on this on this forum. It has been discussed several times I believe.

    Havent touched it. I need the quarter glass and regulator before I go any further. I have a local guy that says he has it but trying to actually get him to find them has been a challenge. Ford Carlisle is in a few weeks so I will hopefully find some there at the latest.
