When converting from 3-on-the-tree to a C-4 on the floor, what crap do I need to rip outta the steering column??... I'm sure there's lotsa extra junk in there... or do I just disconnect the linkages to the tranny and the shift knob???

Also, is there any trick to removing the whole clutch pedal and clutch mas/cyl and all that jazz?

You really dont need to remove anything from the column but you do need to lock it in reverse so you can remove the key. The easiest way is to make a small bracket and bolt the shift arm to the firewall in the correct position. You will have to move the reverse lite switch and use the one on the shifter.
