So we just fixed an overflow problem recently, and now I have another problem. I drove it for about 2 days, and now its leaking coolant from what looks to be behind the fan. Maybe the water pump? From what I can see its below the water outlet/thermostat housing. Any suggestions?
Looks like the water pump seal is shot, and it is leaking from the weep hole. It is designed to do this to let you know you have a bad pump.
It was the water pump. Replaced the pump, seems to run fine. Gonna drive it for awhile and see how it goes, thanks for the help!
Glad u got it worked out. I had both those issues in the past year. Replaced the wp last fall and the stat housing a few months ago.
