Cost of a valve job

    How does it cost to have heads clean and a valve job done? It would be for a 75 mav with a 302.

    I did it locally for about $100 including hot tanking, replacing a couple of bent valves, reseating, and repainting.

    That was about 5 years ago.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    It will ultimately depend on how many valves/springs need to be replaced as well as condition of the valve guides.A simple valve/seat grind and new seals should be around 125.00...150.00
