I have attached a pic of a custom fiberglass Shelby
taillight section (includes the light buckets).

My question is, I would like to find this (or something
very similar to it) in metal.

Does anybody have a lead for something like this?

Cant help you find a metal one but here's a picture of that fiberglass one installed on a car that I saw in FL back in January. Looked great, factory.

I'm in the process of doing the very same thing to one of my cars right now. I don't have everything fitted in yet but I will actually have the panel molded to the body when I am finished. I did have to do quite a bit of trimming on the fiberglas piece to get the fit I wanted. I also had to cut the entire raised portion out of the original panel to get the fiberglas one to fit up flush. Here's a recent pic.

I believe that they were all fiberglass from '67-'70.
I have never seen a metal one.

Well, that's what I started out to do. But then I saw the
whole kit and kaboodle on the back of a Mav and now
    there's no going back. :)
