Differencial???????

    71 maverick,69 429 thunder jet T-Bird.
    would a 1969 Cougar XR7 with a 351 4v 9 inch rear-end fit my 71 ford maverick 200-ci(3.3L)?:huh:

    It will bolt right in.
    It is however much wider than the stock rear.
    The way to overcome this is to use rear rims with additional backspace to keep the tires tucked under the rear quarters.

    probly wheels off a current mustang will have the right offset for that diff on a mav.
