I am about to switch out my 1973 distributor with points to a 1976 electronic version. I wanted to see if anyone thought there would be any trouble doing this. thanks

Lot's of us have done it already ... including myself ... very worthwhile swap ... just get has much as the wiring harness from the junk yard as possible ...

    Also ... a 1977 is better ... Duraspark II

How are the pertronix or similar point replacements in the stock distributor?

Actually, I have been looking at a billet distributor with coil, vacuum advance adjustment, and electronic non-points all in one. Needs only one hot wire, and go.

Scooper I put that one in my 73 Grabber. I used Petronix Plug N Play "FLAMETHROWER". Works great! (y)

"GREAT" is a good thing (y)

In fact, I found one with a built-in rev-limiter...I might go for it :D
