What kind of dizzy is it? You could get a MSD box, they can be triggered by just about any dizzy made. All you have to do is follow the hookups for the type of dizzy you are using. One thing to remember is that you need a coil that is designed for a CD system when using a MSD or similar ignition box.

you will need the wiring harness for the ignition control module to make the retro fit easy.you have 3 types of control modules: duraspark I 1975, ford change the wiring in 1976 control module and added a zener diod but the distributor wiring remained the same.
in 1977 they went to the duraspark II control module for more power and the big distributor cap for less cross fire. in the chliton's manual will explain in detail the wiring schematic and chages by model year. try to get the motorcraft module if posible' it has more dwell(longer spark) hope this helps a bit. there's always after market ECM's

Control box and wire harness to match that particular box.

    OR

Like mentioned, MSD 6 (or better), will work with Duraspark.
    And the stronger coil...

The large cap can be used on any Ford distributor, even points. You just need both halves of the cap (top and bottom), then swap to HEI style spark plug wires.
