I am getting ready to swap out the motor on my 75 mav right now it has a 200 w/ a c4 tranny, I am going to be putting in a 250 from a 79 granada and I need to find out if the bolt holes will match or will I need a new bell houseing?

    Hello ED,

I do not know about a granada engine swap, but I took the c-4 out of a 1974 comet with a 250 and put it in a 1974 mav. with a c-4 200 engine and I had to change bell housings so it would bolt up to the engine. Also the 200 torque convertor was welded to the fly wheel and the 250 engines torque was not. So I believe the bell housings will have to be different on a 200 and 250. Dean
