sorry i know i could be searching for this but i dont really have the time right now so ya...

i have a 302 in my maverick and i dont want to have to take the engine out to look for the year of my engine. (guy i bought my mav from told me the year but i cant remember, so im looking for it.) I do have hooker headers on it which makes it really hard to find where the year/casting number would be. Any pointers on how to locate it?

well that link wont work anymore, but if your looking at the engine standing in front of it on the right side top of the engine (right under the head) i found the number 28 i think it is...

on the heads, still if your standing in front of the engine on the left head i found an "S" in the front and a "91" in the back. On the right i found an "81" in front and for the back all i could see was a "9".
