factory floor shifter location

    anyone in so cal have a factory floor shift car with an automatic? I want to convert mine from the collumn, but I want the shifter in the correct location. If youre willing to let me come take measurements, please contact me. thanks, Chris 9098516053

    to install it like stock you will need a factory...shifter hump...:yup:

    It seems that my previous 74 with a factory floor shift didnt have any kind of removable hump, just a hole in the floor, but I do know the hump youre talking about, ive seen them on ebay. can someone verify any differences in model years? Thanks, Chris

    I never knew automatics came with floor humps. Learn something new every day :) oh an 909 is local to me! Too bad i have a column shift.

    Yes ... get the factory floor hump for the Auto Floor Shifter. It is shaped to fit a specific spot on the tranny tunnel. Slide it on until it fits snuggly and that is where you bolt it on and cut the hole in the tunnel.
