    A lot
So the fenders were junk on my 72’, and I was able to source a pair of real nice 73’ fenders cheap. I was aware of the 73’ fenders needed to be notched for the 72’ bumper so I marked them out based on the dimensions of the original fenders. Problem is I left them out in the weather too long and my marks are gone, as are the original fenders. I did a search and while there is info, I couldn’t see any posts with the notch dimensions. Can anyone help with those dimensions?

Maybe this will help. Check out Fender Notch. Don't know about a '73 Fender but the '74 fender is different around the headlight than the 70-72. On a side note...the 75 fender is also different than the '74 fender behind the headlight including the bucket.

the 73 fenders I notched appeared identical to the 72 fender I used as a pattern, except the 73 weren't notched.

Not sure why '73 fenders would need to be notched. They should be the same as '70-'72.
The '74-'77 Mavericks had the big bumpers and no valance.

    Craig, where are you??...

I had to notch my '73 fenders.
If I were to do it again, I would keep the '73 front bumper...JMO

One has to notch the 1973 fenders.

I converted my 77 to early model bumpers. I left the fenders as is and notched the rock guard instead. No one has ever noticed or commented on it being wrong or looking bad.
