Hey guys, good news. I finally found a nice little '71 in Ohio and will be driving down next week to pick her up. She's got a straight 6-3 speed stick and a really clean body, picked her up for 2500 bucks. Already got a few leads for a new engine (302 or bigger) Thanks to everyone here for the words of encouragement and to the Maverick forum in general for making it so much easier to find one! Here's a pic, let me know what you think. Any advice/comments will be appreciated. Wish me luck getting her across the border!
Good Deal I run the 6 for awhile and save for the upgrades with gas slowly creeping back up, I think $10.00 got me 3.1 gallons yesterday in the Kia.
