Ok, I have the shifter and linkage. The shifter is mounted to the floor and I understand that the arm on the transmission has to be moved by 90 degrees or something. How is it removed and repositioned.....I don't see a nut or bolt....is it pressed in? And what angle does it change by...is 90 degrees clockwise correct?
    thanks

When I did mine I got the floor shifter and arm out of the same car. To get the arm out you have to drop the tranny pan and valve body and then I don't remember the rest but you can see how it comes out. I don't think there is a way to just move the arm without changing the whole thingamajig the arm is part of.
