I can't believe it. Been working on the 74 for almost a year now. Today AFTER the car is almost complete I find a 75 mav parts car that has been setting in a bone yard just 30 miles away. I snached up the windshield and a few other parts, and they also had a 71 valance in a junk pile they gave to me (FREE)along with a armrest a sail panel emblem. I was at the same yard last summer and they told me they did not have any mavericks there, but my dad was there a few days ago and saw it in. I so could have saved myself so much work, It has a good trunk pan, rear frame is good along with the fenders. All stuff I had to rebuild. They even had a windshield out of a 71 just lying around.
Great find but just a little late huh? I know the feeling well... Bought a '71 coupe a few weeks ago for ... a certain amount of $. "71 is in pretty good shape and prime candidate for restoraion (or modification). A week later I find a '73 in much better shape for about the same amount of $ and a '69 1/2 completely restored with chrome encrusted 289 for a little bit more... Suffering now from premature Mavrickation...
