front suspension

    Does anyone know if the front coil spring supension from a fox bodied Mustang will fit under a Maverick?(y)

    fox bodies have that drop out K-member. its alot diffrent then mavericks

    Yes it does.....but I plan to change the spindle assembly with a disc brake set-up(y)

    What I'm getting at is.....The fox bodied frame and our cars frame the same

    distance between frame rails?:thumbs2:

    While I don't have any exact measurements, I can say that the distance between the frame rails on my 1980 Mercury Capri RS is definitely further apart then the Maverick. Below is a picture of the engine bay of the Capri, I don't have any decent pics of the Maverick engine bay I don't think.
