I ve got a 70 model and need a fuel tank. I read the fuel tank upgrade but it says 71-something, what to do about my 70. that mustang tank sure looks a lot like mine.

Alas, the 70 tank is unique to the 70 Mav. Not sure what people have adapted.

The Mustang tank is wider and not as long as the Maverick tank. It takes some fabrication skills to adapt it to a 70. Your best bet would be to take yours and send it out to be refurbished.
