    Okay guys...kinda funny cause I just came back to the forum "Maverick-less"...BUT my friend in Pahrump found another Mav...71-73 not sure, sight unseen...but it is a V8 and he just want the tranny out of it and he is going to give me the car for free... so I dont know what shape its in, but out it the desert you can pretty much bet that there will be little to no rust...But supposedly its in running condition...so we will see...Wish me luck with it!

    well...they were supposed to get back in touch with us and never did...so i guess they solved their own problem...
