Hope you guys can help out. First will a 2 dr trunk lid fit a 4 dr? Is the back window the same on a 4dr as a 2dr? Whats all different between the 2dr and the 4dr? If there's a post about this please tell me. I am thinking about picking up a 4 dr mav if I can use parts off my 72 2dr. thanks for any help. I was almost ready to get a 4 dr 67 impala until I seen the 4 dr mav. Dang she looks good with 4 doors.

No they are not interchangeable. The 4 door roof line is more squared off so the think lid is flatter. I dont know what the difference is in the glass because I never bothered to compare them, but they are different. My guess would be the 4 door glass is shorter. I will go outside later and measure them.
Only thing interchangeable between the 4 door and 2 door is everything forward of and including the dash, mechanical parts, and everything behind and including the tail light panel.
Rear glass and trunk lid is different. Fenders, hood, taillight panel and frt and rear valances will work. What year is the 4dr if your not interested in it I might be. I`m allways lookin for 4dr stuff.
