    Got a call just after lunch from the place I took the comet to cursh.....they had just gotten a 2 door comet in and wanted to know if I would like to come and get parts off it:bouncy::drive:.....I hit the door a running
    got there and saw a 77 comet...has normal rust...bad hood lip...and rust through in other areas.....

    It has a 2.79 rear.....front disc brakes and deluxe buckets....looks to have fair floor pans and a near perfect battery appron:bananamanwhich I need...so this one is going to be stripped also then taken back to crush....they let me have it for 400 bucks and the last one I took down got 150 so I figure
    I should come out ahead.

    nice grab, I haven't seen one Mav or Comet in any junkyard in the 5 years I've had mine.

    Awesome! I almost clocked two guys in the head with my 15" crescent last time I saw a Comet in the Junkyard, we got in a quarrel over tail lights.

    yes not many in the junk yards here as well, I found one 72 mav. mostly gone and a 4dr 77 comet ,but it has disc brakes and five lugs ,so maybe it will still be there when I get to go back.
