It's almost the correct Dealer Installed Maverick AM/FM ...

It is a Bendix (not a Philco), has a 1971 Ford Part # and the correct face plate for the 70/72 Radio bezel. But is a stereo instead of monaural .... just got it today ... will install tomorrow ... seller says it works perfect ... we shall see ... :bananaman

I just got finished putting it in ... so getting the Ford part # will have to wait ... :)

THe shafts are about 1/2 inch too long for the Maverick Bezel. I did some tweaking to make the knobs I had on my AM look decent. The knobs that came with it would have never have worked. Gonna search on eBay for something that might work better. The Radio sounds great ... but will sound much better when I put a new speaker in my Dash ... I just found there is a hole in the original one and I get a bad vibe with the base .... :(

Also whoever had this before me had already converted it to Mono and even had the correct connector on it to plug right into my Factory Mono speaker! So all I would really need to do to make it look original would be to find a chrome slider without the word STEREO on it and swap it out ...

Do you always take off your shoes before getting into your car? ;)

Took a motorcycle ride of to Mustangs Unlimited and picked up a new speaker ... needless to say ... but the new one sounds much better!
