    Hi guys,

    I am the proud owner of a 1974 4-door Maverick. The interior is pristine and the exterior could use a little body work. This is my very first project car and I think that its going to be alot of fun. Okay a little about me. I'm a 33 year old father of 5. I have tattooed for a living since I was 16 years old. In fact, it was the tattoo business that brought me to this car, but thats a whole other story. I live in Southeast Texas, where we have a "hot summer nights" drag type thing during the warmer (95 degrees+) months. I'm hoping to learn more about my car and the things that I can do to customize it to my liking. Thanks for being here,

    According to Ford, mine is "saddle bronze". The interior is a very nice tan though. Is it this one? [​IMG]

    and you have an LDO car (Luxury Decor Option), which includes that side trim, matching color keyed hub caps, soft vinyl interior w/ bucket seats, and was supposed to get an extra coat of paint from the factory. there might have been an add-on that i missed but that's the LDO..

    btw, WELCOME! used to live in Pasedena (sp.) when i was a kid :Handshake

    Thanks! The interior was the main reason that I bought it. (see pics) Secondly it was the mileage and engine. 131,000 original miles on a 302 from 74. Far out.

    So far I have changed the heater core, starter, and shocks all the way around.
